Breast Cancer Awareness: OPI Pink of Hearts 2013 Limited Edition Nail Lacquer Set

Cancer is an awful disease that has affected many of us in one way or another. Whether personally, or through a family member, we have all experienced the effects and emotions of this horrible illness. Whenever possible, I try to contribute my personal time and/or money to charitable events to raise awareness and funds for Cancer research. Amber, of Canadian Fashionista, a friend and fellow blogger sits on the board of a charitable organization called DASH and I admire her greatly for it. She lost her best friend to the disease.

For the last 7 years and counting, OPI has released their Pink of Hearts promotion.... a limited edition set designed to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support. This year, it includes the very popular and classic sheer pink shade "Pinking of You" and the sparkle-packed "More Than a Glimmer".... a lacquer packed with micro & macro MATTE glitters housed in a rainbow of colour. The kit also includes pink ribbon and crystal decals (10 each) for anyone wishing to do their own nail art. The bottles themselves feature a special pink ribbon cap wrap in support of breast cancer awareness.

The Pink of Hearts set will be available September and October at professional salons and spas. Here in Canada, it will retail for $19.95 CDN.
